On June 8, Inner Mongolia Xin'ao's methanol auction starting price was set at 2,710 yuan/ton, with a total volume of 4,000 tons. The auction ultimately cleared at prices between 2,725 and 2,730 yuan/ton, with mainstream deals at the high end. The plant's Phase I unit (600,000 tons/year) and Phase II unit (600,000 tons/year) for methanol production are operating normally. Attention should be paid to the scheduled maintenance of the Phase II project, expected to take place in early July.
