According to a report by Iran's Tasnim News Agency on March 12, a spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces stated that any attack on Iran's energy infrastructure and ports would be met with a "devastating response." The spokesperson warned that in the event of such an attack, oil and gas facilities belonging to the United States and its allies in the Middle East would face the risk of being targeted and destroyed.
