On June 2, Sinopec South China Company's listed price for xylene was executed at 6,950 yuan/ton. The significant rise in crude oil boosted the aromatics night session, providing positive support for spot toluene and xylene markets. Previously, market prices had been moving sideways, with downstream demand limited. In addition, the toluene export arbitrage window is nearing closure, leading to cautious purchasing by traders. The market is expected to maintain a narrow range fluctuation in the short term.
