Acetic acid market prices in South China rose on September 16.

Published on 2026-09-16

ChemPriceHub, September 16 News:

On September 16, the acetic acid market in South China strengthened. Ex-factory prices for self-pickup rose by approximately RMB 75/ton to around RMB 4,225/ton. With low inventory pressure at acetic acid producers and methanol feedstock prices remaining elevated, strong bullish factors supported the market. Downstream buyers continued purchasing on an as-needed basis, keeping the acetic acid market firm.
