On June 27th, Inner Mongolia Xin'ao started its methanol auction at a starting price of 2,280 yuan/ton, with a total volume of 3,000 tons, ultimately all sold at 2,295 yuan/ton. The Phase II 600,000-ton/year methanol plant remains shut down for maintenance, while the Phase I 600,000-ton/year facility is operating normally.
