Yankuang Group Methanol Auction Results on August 19: The methanol starting price for Yulin Yankuang was 2,580 CNY/ton, with a quantity of 2,000 tons, ultimately all transacted at 2,580 CNY/ton. The company's Phase I 600,000-ton/year methanol unit and Phase II 800,000-ton/year methanol project are both operating steadily. Yankuang Guohong methanol was sold via competitive bidding, ultimately transacted at 2,880 CNY/ton on an ex-plant cash basis. The 640,000-ton/year coal-to-methanol unit is currently shut down.
