The supply side has contracted to some extent, providing support to spot caustic soda prices. In the futures market, on May 13, 2026, the main caustic soda contract 2607 on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange closed at 2,058 yuan/ton, with a settlement price of 2,043 yuan/ton and a trading volume of 441,000 lots. The expectation of supply contraction also lent some bullish support to futures prices.
