On June 17, Mingquan Group (formerly Shandong Mingshui) lowered its methanol quotation by 70 yuan/ton to 3,080 yuan/ton (cash, ex-works). The 600,000-ton coal-to-methanol unit was shut down for maintenance on May 23, with an expected duration of 30 days.
