On June 11, Yantai Wanhua’s neopentyl glycol (NPG) production capacity is 80,000 tons. The ex-works price for bulk NPG is quoted at 7,750–7,900 yuan/ton, down by 100 yuan/ton from the previous day. Actual transaction prices are negotiable on a case-by-case basis. The downstream market is declining, and downward pressure on isobutyraldehyde remains.
