January 23 (Reuters) - On January 22, the total inventory of domestic soda ash manufacturers stood at 1.5212 million tons, a decrease of 23,000 tons compared to Monday, representing a decline of 1.49%. Among this, light soda ash inventory was 824,500 tons, and heavy soda ash inventory was 696,700 tons. Chempricehub's analysis of soda ash indicates a bullish sentiment with a score of 1. The report shows that on January 22, the total inventory of domestic soda ash manufacturers decreased by 23,000 tons compared to Monday, a decline of 1.49%, with light and heavy soda ash inventories dropping to 824,500 tons and 696,700 tons, respectively. The reduction in inventory suggests easing supply pressure or increased demand, which is favorable for spot prices and may stimulate active market buying. Combined with soda ash futures data, the main contract, such as 2605, closed at 1,185 yuan per ton, with a daily increase of 6.00 yuan, a trading volume of 825,258 lots, and an open interest of 1,160,131 lots, reflecting strong bullish sentiment. The news of inventory reduction may further support the upward trend in futures prices and enhance market confidence.
