On May 28, industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% purity) in Hebei was quoted at RMB 4,100/ton, up by RMB 100/ton. Persistent price increases in raw materials such as sulfur and soda ash have exerted cost pressure, driving up the price of sodium metabisulfite.
