On April 22, the price of corn-based ethanol in Sichuan region dropped by approximately 100 yuan/ton. Main production facilities are operating normally, while downstream customers are purchasing strictly on a need-only basis. Market transactions are within the range of 6,150–6,200 yuan/ton.

According to Chempricehub's assessment of ethanol, the bullish-bearish rating stands at -1. The article indicates that spot prices for corn-based ethanol in Sichuan decreased by 100 yuan/ton, with transaction prices ranging between 6,150 and 6,200 yuan/ton. While main production facilities are operating normally, downstream demand remains limited to essential procurement, suggesting weak demand and relatively ample supply, leading to a market supply-demand imbalance and downward price pressure. This trend exerts a generally bearish influence on spot prices, and prices are likely to continue facing downward pressure in the short term.
