Chempricehub, June 25 - According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on June 24, the European Commission issued a final affirmative anti-dumping determination on 1,4-butanediol originating in China, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. The ruling imposes anti-dumping duties on Chinese companies: Xinjiang Meike Chemical Co., Ltd. at 105.6%, Wanhua Chemical (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. at 113.7%, other cooperating Chinese companies at 107.5%, and all other Chinese companies at 113.7%. For Saudi Arabia, International Diol Company and all other Saudi companies face a duty of 52.4%. For the United States, Lyondell Chemical Company faces a duty of 135.7%, and all other U.S. companies face a duty of 142.5%. The dumping investigation period is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2021, to the end of the dumping investigation period. The announcement takes effect from the day following its publication.
