December 29th News — According to customs data, China's cumulative titanium dioxide exports from January to November 2025 amounted to approximately 1.645 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7%. Among these, cumulative exports of sulfuric acid-process titanium dioxide reached 1.3226 million tons, down 7.2% compared to the previous year, while exports of chloride-process titanium dioxide totaled 322,400 tons, a slight increase of 1.1% year-on-year.
Chempricehub's analysis of titanium dioxide assigns a bearish score of -1. According to customs data, China's total titanium dioxide exports from January to November 2025 decreased by 5.7% year-on-year, with sulfuric acid-process titanium dioxide exports declining significantly by 7.2%, while chloride-process exports saw only a marginal increase of 1.1%. This indicates overall weak international market demand, particularly for the dominant sulfuric acid-process products. The reduced demand may lead to domestic oversupply and inventory accumulation, exerting downward pressure on spot prices of titanium dioxide and constituting a generally bearish impact.
