According to data from China Customs, sulfur imports in August 2026 totaled 272,300 tonnes, representing a month-on-month decrease of 29.35% and a year-on-year decline of 65.03%. Cumulative imports for the period January–August 2026 amounted to 2.9186 million tonnes, down 59.56% year-on-year.
