Mainstream spot quotations for toluene in the East China market are in the range of RMB 8,950–9,100/mt, up RMB 300/mt from the previous trading day. In the previous trading day, toluene and xylene surged sharply, and the spot market continued to hold firm today. Overnight crude oil continued to rise, boosting bullish sentiment in the spot market. Domestic spot supply is tight, and traders’ offers remain firm.
