ChemPriceHub, September 20 – In August 2026, China’s imports of diethylene glycol (DEG) totaled 3,900 metric tons, a month-on-month decrease of 15,300 metric tons, representing a drop of 79.69%. The average import price for the month was USD 907.31 per metric ton. Cumulative imports from January to August 2026 reached 173,300 metric tons, down by 173,900 metric tons year-on-year, reflecting a decline of 50.09%.

In terms of exports, DEG shipments in August 2026 amounted to 3,300 metric tons, a month-on-month decrease of 500 metric tons, or 15.87%. The average export price for the month stood at USD 1,314.66 per metric ton. Cumulative exports from January to August 2026 totaled 55,000 metric tons, an increase of 22,700 metric tons compared with the same period last year.
