The IAEA also stated that it is investigating the incident. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reiterated the call for military restraint to avoid the risk of a nuclear accident.
Iranian media reported on the 21st, citing a statement from the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, that Israel and the United States attacked Iran's Natanz uranium enrichment facility that day, and no leakage has occurred at the facility so far.
The statement said the facility was attacked in the morning, which violates international law, including the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Relevant Iranian agencies have conducted technical investigations in the vicinity, and no radioactive material leakage has occurred at the facility, posing no threat to the safety of nearby residents.
