On September 18, the ethyl acetate market in North China remained weak. Ex-factory prices from producers were around CNY 6,330 per ton, up by CNY 70 per ton. With strong upstream price trends, market participants showed a firm inclination to push prices higher. Producers adjusted and raised their quoted prices accordingly, while actual transactions continued to be subject to negotiation.
