February 5th — The mainstream spot quotation range for toluene in East China is between 5,500–5,520 yuan/ton, up by 50 yuan/ton compared to the previous trading day. Overnight crude oil continued to close higher, while aromatics showed relatively stable performance during the night session. In the previous trading day, domestic toluene and xylene prices had already exhibited a narrow rebound trend. Currently, domestic toluene and xylene inventories are at low levels, with no significant pressure on the supply side. The focus for the day will be on the overall market sentiment in the aromatics sector and the pace of downstream restocking ahead of the Spring Festival. If downstream restocking demand strengthens, prices are expected to continue their narrow upward trend.
