April 15 (Reuters) - The mainstream spot quotation range for xylene in the East China market is 7,200-7,350 yuan/ton, down 100 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. The sharp decline in crude oil overnight has weighed on overall market sentiment, leading to a pessimistic outlook, and buyer quotations may follow suit during the day. However, current toluene and xylene prices are relatively low compared to the previous period when crude oil was at a high level. Coupled with the strong performance of PX and benzene in the overnight session, the price differential advantage among products will provide some support. Overall, toluene and xylene market prices are expected to exhibit a weak and volatile trend during the day.
