February 12th News: The mainstream spot quotation range for xylene in the East China region is 5,680–5,700 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day. Spot trading has become increasingly subdued ahead of the Spring Festival. In the previous trading day, domestic toluene and xylene prices experienced narrow-range fluctuations. The recent strong performance of pure benzene futures provided some support for toluene. However, as the Spring Festival approaches, market activity is gradually coming to a halt, making significant price fluctuations unlikely. It is expected that the toluene and xylene markets will remain in a consolidation phase before the holiday.
