March 10 (Reuters) - The mainstream spot quotation range for xylene in East China is between 6,700 and 6,720 yuan per ton, down 1,500 yuan per ton from the previous trading day. Yesterday, the toluene and xylene futures markets saw a significant rally, but today market sentiment has become more rational. Regional price differentials are expected to gradually return to reasonable levels, with some excessively high prices likely to experience noticeable corrections. Currently, spot market supply remains tight, and traders are holding onto their inventories with reluctance to sell, showing a clear intention to maintain high prices. It is anticipated that toluene and xylene market prices will undergo a high-level correction today.
