March 23 (Reuters) - The mainstream spot quotation for xylene in East China is in the range of 8,200–8,300 yuan per ton, up 500 yuan per ton from the previous trading day. Over the weekend, toluene and xylene prices rose overall, coupled with tightening market supply, leading to a noticeable recovery in overall buying sentiment. Aromatic hydrocarbon night trading also generally strengthened. Driven by tight supply and improving market sentiment, it is expected that the market will fluctuate with a strong bias during the day. Prices in other domestic regions are likely to follow suit, and the short-term aromatic hydrocarbon market is expected to maintain a strong pattern.
