On the previous trading day, domestic toluene and xylene market prices experienced varying degrees of decline. The overnight aromatics market continued to exhibit a weak trend, compounded by the ongoing reduction in downstream spot replenishment gaps ahead of the Spring Festival. Market buying interest is expected to remain subdued during the day. However, refinery inventories are mostly at low levels, and there is no expectation of a further deepening in short-term supply-demand structural imbalances. Considering the overall weak market sentiment, it is anticipated that the bidding prices for toluene and xylene will continue to experience slight downward pressure during the day.
