On August 27, Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. executed its ex-factory settlement price for phenol at RMB 8,300/ton, effective from August 27. It is reported that the company’s two phenol/acetone units, with a combined capacity of 700,000 t/y, are operating normally and shipments are proceeding as planned.
