On August 6, the bromine market in North China maintained a firm price trend. Currently, the ex-works price of bromine in the market is around 35,000–37,000 CNY/ton. Manufacturers show a clear reluctance to sell and a strong inclination to hold prices firm. Inventories at production plants remain low, but end-users are purchasing on an as-needed basis, with a prevailing atmosphere of wait-and-see.
