On July 7, driven by increased market demand, the quotation for industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (purity 96.5%) in the Shanghai market stood at 4,100 RMB/ton, up 50 RMB/ton from the previous level. Inventory was at approximately 20% of capacity.
