Due to escalating conflicts in the Middle East, crude oil prices surged significantly, resulting in a sharp rise in the prices of raw materials such as ortho-xylene and industrial naphthalene. Consequently, the production cost of phthalic anhydride increased. Meanwhile, the plasticizer market experienced a substantial price increase, and plasticizer manufacturers raised their operating loads, maintaining demand support for phthalic anhydride.
