On September 17, the market price of butyl acetate in East China continued its upward trend. Ex-factory prices from producers stood at approximately RMB 8,200/ton, reflecting an increase of RMB 25/ton. With upstream acetic acid prices remaining at elevated levels and market sentiment largely supportive of further gains, quotes for butyl acetate were adjusted upward following a period of consolidation. Actual transaction prices remain subject to negotiation.
