On September 14, Tongling Chemical Industry Group, with a phthalic anhydride (PA) capacity of 80,000 tons/year, reported normal operation of its o-xylene-based PA unit. The quoted price for PA stood at RMB 10,200/ton, marking an increase of RMB 200/ton. Actual transaction prices also rose amid tight supply conditions, prompting the company to implement sales volume restrictions.
