In the Shandong region, the mainstream quotation range for xylene is 5,750-5,800 yuan/ton, down 50 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. Recently, the domestic toluene and xylene markets have been trending downward. Although current domestic inventory is at a low level, which provides some support to prices, downstream demand remains persistently weak. Under the tug-of-war between bullish and bearish factors, the market is expected to maintain a weak and volatile pattern.
