Spot trading tends to be sluggish before the Spring Festival, and the domestic toluene and xylene markets are consolidating sideways. Overnight crude oil prices fell sharply, coupled with the weak trend of pure benzene and PX futures, which has formed a negative drag on the aromatics market. It is expected that the toluene and xylene markets will remain weak and consolidate overall before the Spring Festival.
