Tongling Chemical Restarts Phthalic Anhydride Production; Quotations Rise, Supply Remains Tight

Chempricehub, August 25 – On August 25, Tongling Chemical Industry Group's phthalic anhydride (PA) capacity stands at 80,000 t/a. Its o-xylene-based PA unit has resumed operation. The current ex-works quotation for phthalic anhydride is 9,400 yuan/ton, up 200 yuan/ton. Supply is tight, with limited sales.
