March 20th News: The mainstream spot quotation range for toluene in East China is 7,630-7,650 yuan/ton, down 20 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. In the previous trading day, the toluene and xylene markets showed a volatile upward trend. Despite the weak performance of PX and benzene futures, the earlier valuations of toluene and mixed xylene were relatively low. Coupled with the rise in gasoline wholesale prices and expectations of tightening supply in the future, multiple positive factors are expected to support toluene and xylene in maintaining a firm trend and operating within a range-bound fluctuation during the day.
