February 4th News: The mainstream quotation range for toluene in the South China market today is 5,450–5,580 yuan/ton, down by 50 yuan/ton compared to the previous trading day. The listed prices of toluene from Sinopec South China Company are as follows: Guangzhou Petrochemical at 5,500 yuan/ton, Maoming Petrochemical at 5,500 yuan/ton, and Zhongke Refining & Chemical at 5,500 yuan/ton. Domestic toluene and xylene prices have weakened slightly, and the intraday trend may continue to fluctuate downward. Although current inventory levels are low, the pre-Spring Festival destocking by refineries will lead to an increase in supply. In the short term, prices are under pressure and are expected to fluctuate with a weakening trend.
