March 16 (Reuters) - The mainstream quotation range for toluene in the South China market today is 7,300-7,700 yuan/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day. In the previous trading session, toluene and xylene showed a slight upward trend, supported by overnight gains in international crude oil and higher aromatic prices in the night session, which improved sentiment in the spot market. However, downstream buyers and traders remained cautious in their purchasing, showing weak willingness to chase higher prices, making further upward movement difficult. It is expected that the market will mainly experience high-level volatility today.
