On September 10, Yantai Wanhua’s neopentyl glycol (NPG) capacity is 80,000 t/y. Bulk NPG quotations are at RMB 10,150–10,300/t, up RMB 200/t. Actual transaction prices are mainly subject to negotiation. The downstream market is rising, and upward support from isobutyraldehyde remains.
