Yankuang Group Methanol Auction Results (September 30):

• Yulin Yankuang: The methanol auction started at a reserve price of RMB 3,400/ton for a volume of 2,000 tons. All lots were unsold (no bids met the reserve price). The enterprise’s Phase I methanol unit with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons and its Phase II project with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons are both operating stably.
• Yankuang Guohong: In the competitive bidding sale, the methanol was offered at RMB 3,860/ton ex-works with cash settlement terms, but all lots remained unsold. The coal-to-methanol plant with an annual capacity of 640,000 tons is currently operating three reactors.
