The daily production of Iraq's Basra Oil Company has dropped from 3.3 million barrels to 900,000 barrels. On the evening of March 20 local time, sources from the Iraqi Ministry of Petroleum stated that due to the suspension of oil exports from ports in southern Iraq, the daily output of Basra Oil Company has decreased from 3.3 million barrels to 900,000 barrels. The current production level has been reduced to approximately 30% of the output prior to February 28.
