According to data released by China Customs, the volume of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imported into China in August 2026 was 2.7982 million tons, representing a month-on-month decrease of 15.64%. Specifically, imports of liquefied propane totaled 2.2051 million tons, down 19.26% from the previous month, with an average import price of USD 720.49 per ton. Imports of liquefied butane amounted to 582,400 tons, up 1.94% month-on-month, with an average import price of USD 708.56 per ton.
