Chempricehub, June 30 – The Bijie million-ton lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode material project is accelerating its construction. The project initiated its planning and approval in October 2025, with a total investment of RMB 7.323 billion. Covering an area of 873 mu (approximately 58.2 hectares), it is planned to have an annual production capacity of 1.04 million tons of LFP cathode material, to be developed in three phases. Phase I has a designed annual capacity of 340,000 tons.
