On July 1st, Shandong Dezhou Shihua lowered the price of liquid caustic soda. The acceptance quotation for 32% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda dropped by 20 RMB/ton to 745 RMB/ton, while the acceptance quotation for 50% ion-exchange membrane caustic soda was 1,100 RMB/ton. Actual orders are negotiable. The chlor-alkali plant has a capacity of 400,000 tons.
