Chempricehub, June 24 – Sinopec South China has set its listed price for toluene at 6,350 yuan/mt on June 24. The toluene and xylene markets continue their weak consolidation pattern. Last night, crude oil and aromatics bulk commodities continued to decline in night trading sessions, providing weak support from the cost side. Market buying sentiment remains cautious, with downstream users primarily maintaining procurement on a need-only basis, resulting in low trading activity. Nevertheless, month-end holding costs still offer some support, and factors such as maintenance at some production plants and manageable port inventory pressure help limit the downside price potential. Overall, with bearish factors dominating, short-term toluene and xylene prices are likely to maintain a weak fluctuating trend.
