Chempricehub, August 25 – On August 25, Sinopec East China raised its diethylene glycol (DEG) quotes. Shanghai Petrochemical increased by 700 yuan/ton, with the latest price set at 12,200 yuan/ton, maintaining a low operating rate; Yangzi Petrochemical and Yangzi-BASF Petrochemical increased by 900 yuan/ton, with the latest price set at 12,500 yuan/ton. Yangzi-BASF's 340,000 tons/year unit is running at nearly 40% of capacity.
