Chempricehub, August 24 — On August 24, Sinopec East China raised its quoted prices for diethylene glycol (DEG). Shanghai Petrochemical increased its price by 1,300 CNY/ton, with the latest price set at 11,500 CNY/ton, and the unit operating at a low load. Yangzi Petrochemical and BASF-YPC each raised their prices by 1,250 CNY/ton, with the latest price set at 11,600 CNY/ton. The BASF-YPC plant, with an annual capacity of 340,000 tons, is currently operating at approximately 40% of capacity.
