On August 24, Sinopec East China raised its quoted price for diethylene glycol (DEG): Shanghai Petrochemical increased its price by 1,300 yuan/ton, with the latest price set at 11,500 yuan/ton, operating at a low load; Yangzi Petrochemical and Yangzi BASF both raised prices by 1,250 yuan/ton, with the latest price set at 11,600 yuan/ton. Yangzi BASF's 340,000-ton/year unit is operating at nearly 40% of capacity.
