On May 28, the price of acetic acid in the Jiangsu region was around 2,790 RMB/ton, down by 15 RMB/ton. Downstream purchasing of acetic acid was conducted on a need-to-buy basis, with a subdued market trading atmosphere and a relatively weak trend in acetic acid prices.
