Chempricehub, June 17 – In East China, the mainstream spot quotation for xylene is in the range of 6,420-6,450 CNY/ton, down 50 CNY/ton from the previous trading day. The decline in international crude oil has exerted bearish pressure on the aromatics sector, leading to cautious market sentiment. Downstream procurement remains limited to immediate needs. Recently, both toluene and xylene markets have been under simultaneous downward pressure, dragged by weak external crude oil conditions. With no positive support in the market today, the overall trading atmosphere is subdued. It is expected that toluene and xylene will continue to show weak and volatile trends.
