In East China, the mainstream spot toluene price range is at RMB 6,450-6,500/ton, down by RMB 100/ton from the previous trading day. The decline in international crude oil has exerted bearish pressure on the aromatics sector, leading to a cautious market sentiment. Downstream procurement remains limited to rigid demand. Recently, both toluene and xylene prices have come under pressure and declined simultaneously, dragged down by weak external crude oil. With no bullish support in the market today, the overall trading atmosphere is subdued. It is anticipated that toluene and xylene prices will continue to exhibit weak and volatile trends.
